(PPS) 100 mg<\/strong>, a semi-synthetic sulfated polysaccharide. It is the only oral medication FDA-approved specifically for <strong>interstitial cystitis\/bladder pain syndrome (IC\/BPS)<\/strong> \u2014 a chronic bladder condition causing pelvic pain, urgency, and frequency in the absence of infection.
