How Does Blise Face Wash Work?

• Surfactants are amphiphilic molecules with a water-loving (hydrophilic) head and oil-loving (lipophilic) tail. When you lather the cleanser on wet skin, the surfactant molecules form micelles around the oils and particulates on the skin surface, which then rinse away with water.
• Mild surfactants (cocamidopropyl betaine, coco-glucoside, decyl glucoside) remove surface oils and dirt selectively, leaving the skin’s native barrier lipids (ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids) largely intact. This is the key property that makes a cleanser “sensitive-skin-friendly” — the balance between adequate cleaning and minimal barrier damage.
• Humectants (glycerin, panthenol) attract and hold water at the skin surface, so the skin does not feel tight or dry after washing.
• Mild emollients (small amounts of neutral oils or silicones) leave a thin protective film that reduces transepidermal water loss after rinsing.

When Blise Face Wash Is Used

Blise Face Wash How to Use

1. Wet your face with lukewarm water. Hot water strips barrier lipids; cold water does not emulsify oils effectively. Lukewarm is the sweet spot.
2. Apply a small amount of Blise Face Wash (pea-sized) to your fingertips or a clean, soft cloth.
3. Gently massage onto the face with small circular motions for 30-60 seconds. Avoid scrubbing — the cleansing is chemical (surfactants), not mechanical.
4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Residue left on skin can cause mild irritation over time.
5. Pat dry with a clean soft towel. Do NOT rub — friction irritates skin and damages the barrier.
6. Apply moisturiser within 60 seconds while skin is still slightly damp, to lock in hydration. This is the most important cosmetic step most people skip.
7. In the morning, apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen over moisturiser.
8. Use twice daily (morning + evening) or three times daily if heavily soiled by outdoor work / heavy exercise / makeup routines.

Children: safe for use in paediatric skin-care routines; same method as adults. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: topical cosmetic use is not a safety concern.

Side Effects

• Common: none expected with normal use on non-sensitive skin
• Uncommon: transient stinging (especially if product gets close to eyes), mild tight feeling if rinsed with very hot water, over-cleansing if used 4+ times daily
• Rare: allergic contact dermatitis — usually to the fragrance, a specific preservative (methylisothiazolinone is a common sensitiser in aqueous cosmetics), or a specific surfactant. Stop use and consult a dermatologist for patch testing.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store Blise Face Wash below 25°C in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Replace cap tightly after use. Use within 12 months of first opening or before the printed expiry, whichever is sooner. Discard if the texture, colour or smell changes noticeably.
