What Is Femalefil?

Femalefil is a branded product marketed containing tadalafil 10 mg, a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor. 4. Effectiveness for women varies widely. Most reported benefit is from women with SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction or diabetic-neuropathic genital symptoms.
5. Do not exceed one dose in 24 hours.

Side Effects

Common: headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dyspepsia, visual disturbance (sildenafil).

Serious (rare): sudden hearing loss, vision loss (NAION), priapism (not relevant in women), severe hypotension with nitrates.

Who Should Not Take Femalefil

• Concurrent nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide) — absolute contraindication
• Recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina, severe heart failure
• Severe hepatic or renal impairment
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Known hypersensitivity to PDE5 inhibitors
