What Is Revidox-LB?
Revidox-LB is a branded generic of doxycycline 100 mg + Lactobacillus probiotic, an oral antibiotic formulation commonly used for UTIs and other bacterial infections. Manufactured by Mankind Pharma.
The added lactobacillus probiotic is intended to reduce antibiotic-associated vaginal or GI disturbance — some evidence of benefit for vaginal flora preservation during tetracycline or broad-spectrum courses.

- STI-associated urethritis / cervicitis: chlamydia, non-gonococcal urethritis (doxycycline is first-line per CDC 2021).

Cum se administrează
- Swallow with water, generally with food to reduce GI upset.

Resistance Patterns and When to Culture

Nitrofurantoin and fosfomycin often have lower resistance rates. Always request a urine culture + sensitivity when: recurrent UTIs, pyelonephritis, pregnancy, treatment failure, men with UTI, complicated UTI, or recent antibiotic use.
