How Pexep CR works
Pexep CR is a Paroxetine HCl-containing SSRI tablet supplied by Sun Pharma. Available strengths: 12.5 / 25 / 37.5 mg. Take with or without food, at the same time each day for steady-state plasma levels.

The controlled-release formulation does not change the elimination half-life or the active moiety in plasma — it only flattens the absorption peak. Withdrawal on missed doses or abrupt cessation is the same as immediate-release paroxetine. Always taper over at least 4 weeks.
