How Involym works
Involym contains Lymecycline, a tetracycline antibiotic that binds the 30S bacterial ribosomal subunit and prevents aminoacyl-tRNA delivery to the A-site, blocking protein synthesis. Important administration rules: swallow with a full glass of water; remain upright for 30 minutes after the dose to prevent oesophageal ulceration. Separate from antacids, dairy, iron, zinc, calcium and magnesium supplements by 2 hours.
