How It Works
The fluoroquinolone component (ofloxacin) inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, killing Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including Pseudomonas. The antifungal component (fluconazole) inhibits fungal cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase, blocking ergosterol synthesis and disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity. Together they cover the mixed flora typical of swimmer’s ear and persistent external otitis.

Dosing
