About MedsBase
1. What is MedsBase?
MedsBase is an international online pharmacy serving more than 1,400 verified customers. We supply pharmaceutical-grade generic medicines — the same active ingredients as the brand-name original — at a fraction of typical retail prices. Most products are dispensed from WHO-GMP certified manufacturers with established export programmes; full clinical information, dosing, side-effect profile and contraindications are provided on every product page.
2. Are the medications FDA-approved?
Yes. Every medication on MedsBase is an FDA-approved generic manufactured under WHO-GMP standards. The Indian FDA (CDSCO) is the regulatory authority that licenses manufacturing and grants export permissions to the markets we ship to. Generic equivalence is established through bioequivalence studies — the active ingredient, strength, dosage form and route of administration match the originator brand.
3. Where does MedsBase ship?
We ship to most countries worldwide. The available destinations and applicable shipping methods are shown automatically at checkout based on your delivery address. If your country is not listed, please contact us before ordering — most exclusions are temporary and route-specific, and we can usually find a working option.
4. What makes MedsBase different from a local pharmacy?
Three things. First, price: generics are typically 70–90% cheaper than the brand-name originator. Second, worldwide shipping: we serve markets where many of these molecules are difficult or expensive to obtain locally. Third, discretion: orders ship in plain envelopes with no pharmacy branding, and our payment processors are configured so that nothing on your bank statement identifies the medication or the pharmacy. See the discreet packaging and statement descriptor sections below for full detail.
Ordering & Account
5. Do I need to create an account to order?
No. Guest checkout is available — you only need an email address and a delivery address to complete the order. Creating an account is optional and gives you order history, saved addresses, faster repeat orders, and access to loyalty points and the referral programme. You can create the account at checkout in a single click.
6. Do I need a prescription?
A prescription is not required to complete an order on MedsBase. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified clinician before starting any new medication, especially long-term therapy or anything outside an established treatment plan. If you already hold a prescription, you can email a copy to [email protected] with your order number and we will keep it on file. Every product page includes the clinical information you need — indication, dosing, side effects, drug interactions and contraindications — so you can have an informed conversation with your physician.
7. How do I choose strength and pack size?
Where multiple strengths or pack sizes exist, the dropdown selector on each product page lists every variation we stock. Larger pack sizes always offer a lower per-unit price, which is shown alongside each option. If you are unsure which variation matches your prescription, the dosing table on every product page shows recommended start, maintenance and maximum doses by indication.
8. What happens if a product is out of stock after I order?
This is rare — out-of-stock variations are marked clearly on the product page and at checkout — but if it happens, our team contacts you within one business day with three options: wait for restock (typical 5–10 days), substitute with an equivalent generic of the same molecule and strength, or full refund. Nothing ships, and no charge is held, until you confirm.
9. Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes — until your parcel has been dispatched. Email [email protected] with your order number as soon as possible. We can change the address, swap a product, adjust quantities or cancel for a full refund right up to the point the parcel leaves our dispatch facility, which is typically within 24–48 hours of payment confirmation.
Payment
10. What payment methods do you accept?
Three methods are available at checkout:
- Credit / Debit Card — routed through our Privacy Shield processor. Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, Diners and JCB.
- Cryptocurrency — via the Plisio gateway, with an automatic 10% discount applied at checkout. Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin, Dogecoin and several other coins supported.
- Bank transfer (SEPA) — for European customers only. See question 17.
11. How does Credit Card (Privacy Shield) checkout work?
When you choose Credit Card at checkout you are redirected to a regulated crypto on-ramp processor — a regulated card-payment processor — that converts your card payment into cryptocurrency, which then settles your MedsBase order. This routing is what allows us to accept card payments for medication legally and reliably; direct card processing for online pharmacies is restricted by Visa and Mastercard rules. The full step-by-step walkthrough is in our Credit Card Payment Guide.
12. Why is ID verification required for credit card payment?
The crypto on-ramp processors that handle the card-to-crypto conversion are licensed payment institutions. Like any regulated financial service, they are required by law (KYC / AML rules) to verify cardholder identity. Verification is a one-time process — after that, repeat orders use the same cardholder profile. You will be asked for a photo ID and a selfie; in some jurisdictions a proof of address is also required. See the Credit Card Payment Guide for screenshots of every step.
13. What will appear on my bank or card statement?
Your statement shows the name of the regulated crypto processor handling your transaction — a regulated card-payment processor (or an abbreviation of one). It will never show “MedsBase”, “medsbase.com”, or the name of any medication. Nothing on your bank statement identifies the pharmacy or what was purchased.
14. Why pay with cryptocurrency?
Three reasons. First, an automatic 10% discount on the entire order — applied by the Plisio gateway at checkout, no coupon code needed. Second, no KYC: crypto payment requires only the source wallet, no ID verification. Third, the statement-descriptor question doesn’t apply — there is no card or bank statement involved. Full breakdown in the Crypto Payment Guide.
15. Which cryptocurrencies are accepted?
The Plisio gateway accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), TRON (TRX) and several stablecoins. The exact list and current minimums are shown at the moment of checkout — Plisio quotes a fixed amount in your chosen coin and gives you a 30-minute window to send the payment.
16. USDT — TRC-20 or ERC-20?
Both networks are supported. TRC-20 is recommended in almost every case: network fees are typically a few cents and confirmations are near-instant, versus several dollars and several minutes on ERC-20 (Ethereum). The Plisio invoice page lets you pick the network before generating the deposit address — make sure your sending wallet supports the network you choose.
17. Can I pay by bank transfer (SEPA)?
SEPA bank transfer is available to customers in the 36 SEPA-zone countries (EU + EEA + Switzerland + UK + a handful of others). Select “Direct Bank Transfer” at checkout and the bank details appear immediately and are also emailed to you. We mark the order paid as soon as funds clear (typically 1–2 business days for SEPA). Outside the SEPA zone, please use card or crypto.
Shipping & Delivery
18. How long does delivery take?
Worldwide shipping. Typical delivery windows below — these are working-day estimates from dispatch:
- Europe — 5 to 12 business days (faster from our EU stock; see Q19)
- United States, Canada — 10 to 15 business days
- UK, Australia, New Zealand — 10 to 14 business days
- Latin America, Asia, Middle East, Africa — 10 to 21 business days
Customs inspection in the destination country can occasionally extend delivery by a few days. If your parcel is significantly outside the window above, our Reshipment Assurance Policy applies automatically.
19. Do you have a European warehouse?
Yes. A selected catalogue of best-selling molecules is held in our EU warehouse for fast intra-EU dispatch — typical delivery 3 to 5 business days. The EU-stock badge appears on eligible products. If a product you want is not stocked in the EU, the order will be dispatched from our main facility on standard worldwide timelines.
20. Where does my order ship from?
Most orders ship from our main fulfilment facility, which works directly with the WHO-GMP manufacturers we source from. Eligible orders to European destinations dispatch from our EU warehouse (see Q19). The exact origin is shown on your shipping confirmation email along with the carrier and tracking number.
21. Will I receive tracking?
Yes. A tracking number is included in the dispatch confirmation email. Tracking visibility varies by route and carrier — some lanes have full end-to-end tracking, others provide checkpoint scans only. If your tracking has not updated for an unusually long time, contact us; we can usually obtain a status from the carrier directly. Note that we do not promise express, insured or signed-for delivery on every route.
22. Will my order clear customs?
The vast majority of orders clear customs without any action required from you. We package and label parcels in the format that customs in each destination country expects to see. In the rare case where customs requests additional information from the recipient (a copy of a prescription, a personal-use declaration, or proof of identity), we email you immediately with the exact wording to use. If a parcel is seized at customs we treat it as a non-delivery under the Reshipment Assurance Policy.
23. What happens with very large orders?
Very high quantities of a single product can attract more attention at customs. To keep delivery rates high, we automatically split unusually large orders into two or more smaller parcels dispatched separately. Each parcel has its own tracking number. The total cost to you does not change.
24. Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Orders ship in plain envelopes or boxes with no pharmacy branding and no medication name on the exterior. The customs declaration uses generic terminology where the route allows. There is no “MedsBase” wording, logo or product photography on the parcel — only the recipient address, return address and the postal labels required by the carrier.
Reshipment Assurance
25. What if my parcel does not arrive?
Every order on MedsBase is covered by our Reshipment Assurance Policy. If your parcel has not been delivered 20 business days after dispatch, contact our support team and we will arrange a free reshipment of the same items. No deductible, no proof beyond the original order number — the 20-business-day window is the trigger.
26. Can I choose a different delivery address for the reshipment?
Yes. The reshipment can go to the original address or to a new one (a workplace, a friend, a different city). Just provide the new address when you contact support. Reshipments are dispatched the same way as the original order.
27. What if the parcel returned because the address was wrong?
If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, the standard 100% reshipment guarantee does not apply — but we will not leave you out of pocket either. We offer a 30% goodwill discount on a re-dispatch to the corrected address. The full list of customer-fault scenarios (refused at customs, recipient unavailable for repeated delivery attempts, etc.) is documented in the Reshipment Assurance Policy.
28. Can I get a refund instead of a reshipment?
Reshipment is our default remedy because it gets the medicine to you, which is what most customers want. Cash refunds are available at our discretion in specific circumstances — for example if the molecule is no longer in stock, if the destination country has changed delivery rules, or if you no longer need the medication. Store credit is always available and applies on the next order automatically. Email [email protected] to discuss the right option for your situation.
Privacy & Discretion
29. Will my bank see what I bought?
No. As covered in question 13, your card statement shows the name of the crypto on-ramp processor (a regulated card-payment processor), never MedsBase or any medication. The bank receives only the merchant name and the amount — they do not have visibility into the underlying purchase. If you pay by cryptocurrency, no bank statement is involved at all.
30. Who sees my personal data?
The information you provide at checkout — name, delivery address, email, phone — is shared only with the carriers and customs authorities required to actually ship the parcel to you. We do not sell or rent customer data. We do not share order history with third parties. Internal access to order data is limited to dispatch and support staff handling your order.
31. Can I contact you over PGP-encrypted email?
Yes. Our PGP public key is published on our Contact page. Use it to encrypt sensitive communications — especially anything containing prescription images or health information you would prefer not to send in plaintext.
Loyalty, Referrals & Discounts
32. How do MedsBase loyalty points work?
You earn 1 loyalty point for every $1 spent on product value (shipping, fees and tax do not count). Points are credited automatically when an order moves to “completed” status. 100 points = $5 store credit on your next order, with a $50 minimum cart for redemption. Crypto payments earn 0.9× points (because the crypto-discount and points stack rules cap combined value). Peptide products are excluded from points earning. Loyalty cannot be combined with REFILL10, COMEBACK15 or REFER10 in the same order.
33. Can I refer a friend?
Yes. Logged-in customers see the Refer & Earn dashboard at /my-account/invite-friends/. Send your unique referral link to a friend; when they place their first qualifying order, they get $10 off with the REFER10 coupon ($50 minimum) and you earn $10 in store credit. Self-referrals are blocked automatically.
34. How do I get a welcome discount?
New visitors are typically offered a 15% welcome coupon via the on-site signup. The coupon is single-use, has a $50 minimum cart, excludes peptides, is tied to your email address and expires 30 days from issue. Existing customers occasionally receive winback offers (REFILL10 at 10%, COMEBACK15 at 15%) by email when a refill window comes up — check your inbox for personalised codes.
Support & Contact
35. How do I contact MedsBase support?
Three channels, all human-staffed:
- Email — [email protected] (typical reply within one business day; PGP encryption optional, key on the Contact page).
- Telegram — handle and instructions on the Contact page; useful for fast back-and-forth on order status.
- Order page — once logged in, every order has a “Reply to this order” message thread that goes straight to the team handling that dispatch.
Always include your order number when contacting support — it lets us pull up your dispatch and tracking instantly.
Did we miss a question? Email [email protected] — every question we get more than once ends up on this page.
